Obedient Scribe discussion: Through writings, the scribe seeks to being Heaven to Earth, striving to manifest the spiritual ideals in the material-physical world. For the obedient scribe and householder, there is no distinction between one's work and spiritual practice.
There is one Power, one divine Spirit everywhere present. The scribe is one with this power. The Spirit flows through the scribe, informing all writings. Thus, all writing is divinely guided. The fruits of this understanding are gifts they bring back to humanity. Will they be able to find the courage, the inspiration, the compassion to tell the truth about what they Know?
The ancient scribes realized the dangers of revealing knowledge to those who could use it for destructive aims. They are careful not to express unintelligibly matters exceedingly deep, beyond the grasp of the average person.
They are also hospice workers for dying worldviews; they understand the dynamics by which the universe cooperates with us in manifesting wisdom. What higher grades of significance, what profound meanings and messages, does the world give us that we are overlooking
Of this we are certain: There is a huge new frontier awaiting our exploration, but it is not the macrocosm of the universe but the microcosm of the mind. According to Hermes, they are one and the same.
When an aspiring Scribe prays for the ?vocation,? it is like ordering something in a restaurant (Life is the same way.). They learn how to order what they want and trust that what they ordered will come.
They do not second guess the cook. It is an incredible teaching to understand this: simply order and say ?This is what I want,? and trust that it is going to come to you. Trust and let it go. Say ?Thank You.? Get clear on what you want, order it and be done with it. Do not keep calling up Spirit to see is It got the order or give advice on how to fill it. You ordered it. Trust that it will come. As the recipient, though, it is important to keep the prayer foremost in your mind.
It is true that the essential things in human life do not change very much from age to age, and that the universal questions continue to draw our attention. But the eternal questions wear a different face in different generations with different levels of understanding. Some people do not have the mental bandwidth to handle the amount and/or style of information flow. This is upsetting to them. There must be an understanding of their resistance to adopting an evolutionary perspective. This is the pivotal conundrum of humanity.
The Ministry of the Obedient Scribe (OS): Obedient Scribes exercise a genuine liturgical function. They are like a monk who wears invisible robes in the workplace.
The transcendental Writer-alchemists are mystics and philosophers. They only used alchemical terminology and symbols to represent esoteric principles. Much of the language is special; different from everyday language. It conveys information, accomplish actions, and sometimes has little to do with the meaning of the words. The choice of style and words are not arbitrary, making messages more memorable. Ritual mental expressions can be ?courteous? memes?words that mean more than meets the ear.
They seek to transmute the base elements of man?s character into the more noble virtues and to release the wisdom of the divine self within man. Service is a text of behavior of special importance.
The Sufis say that to speak well our words must pass through three gates. At the first gate we ask, ?Are these words true?? At the second gate we ask, ?Are they necessary?? At the third gate we ask. ?Are they kind??
Scribes do not stop polishing ourselves, only to understand the real meaning of the effort: conditioning themselves to be proper vehicle of divine expression. The ideal writer is curious about the meaning of life, who is not convinced that any of the existing explanations are exhaustive enough, who is concerned about the state of the world, and who would like to do something about it.
Integrated scribes, mentally, physically. and spiritually, can achieve a balance between the twin aspects of living in the world, yet not of the world; of science and mysticism; of matter and spirit. They will be able to achieve a Golden Mean with higher awareness and consciousness. Standing at the intersection of two worlds, they are likened to a bridge for wisdom energies to enter this world.
I am grateful for all your efforts in behalf of my spiritual quest and the quests of others in this time of human history: providing Planetary Citizens with ?attitudes? and mental skills for the emerging Paradigm.
The world will be presented with many complex and intense challenges all designed for the greatest good. There is a need for many teachers and writers to aid in transitioning the world and its inhabitants using the coming challenges.
Humanity will be presented with events and situations that will allow them to evolve. We are not to judge anything henceforth since our faith in the unfolding of the greatest good is well founded.
We write for the Now, the present moment. We delight in weaving together of thoughts into different forms to bring about a deeper understanding, creating options of reality and bring them to the mass consciousness of the planet.
