After the 9/11/2001 event, we began to seriously question whether or not our current civilization will endure or even exist much longer.
First, we will discuss the (click) Drake equation to understand the evolution of galactic planets where life and advanced civilizations may or may not exist an why it matters to our species.
Second, we will discuss several possible (click) New World Orders that we might chose for our species and our planet to ensure we have a future.
Third, we will discuss the (click) nature of our species.
In 1961, Frank Drake of Cornell University devised a formula to estimate the number of technical, communicative civilizations in the Milky Way, which came to be called the Drake Equation. It addresses the possibility of intelligent life with advanced technology that may be located throughout the Milky Way Galaxy. The equation has a crucial factor that is of utmost importance to our species. It is fl. or L. It is the fraction of a planetary lifetime graced by a technical civilization.
It is important in our present age to be focused on this factor as a living, contemporary philosophy.
